The Madison Patriot
A Newsletter for the Madison County Republican Central Committee
4th Issue – Thursday, July 15, 2021
From the Desk of Chairman Ray Wesley
The 2022 election is shaping up to be one of the most important elections in Madison County’s history. In the coming months, we will have some great opportunities to socialize, network and promote our shared goal of continued conservative leadership. During these next months we must not lose sight of our vision of electing strong conservative voices in our local communities and county wide.
Our Central Committee golf tournament will be held at the Spencer T. Olin Golf Course in Alton on Friday, September 17. We need everyone to spread the word, invite friends and family members, become an event sponsor, and organize a team to compete. Please plan on attending and help promote this important event. If you do not play golf, please consider offering some level of sponsorship support.
As you know, with the maps being redrawn, every county board seat is open in the next election cycle, as well as critical statewide seats. District lines will change for races, bringing a new landscape, and presenting new challenges. Every fundraising dollar will count. It is important that we maintain our gains and protect the values of the people we serve. This is our opportunity to financially support our candidates through donations to the Republican Party.
We look forward to seeing you at future events.
As always, I look forward to hearing from you. I welcome your emails at [email protected] or your text or calls at 618-920-1700.
Ray Wesley, Chairman
